KLD-C-CODcr is an automatic on-line analyzer independently developed by KLD. Using imported CPU, highly precise signal processor and simple but steady loop flow system to effectively reduce signal fluctuation and to ensure the accuracy and stability of data. Complete separation between electronics and hydraulics allows long-term & stable running. It is suitable for several types of water matrix like river water, surface water and industrial effluent.

Measuring Principle
KLD-C-CODcr is based on GB11914-1989 Water Quality-Determination of the Chemical Oxygen Demand-Dichromate Method. Quantified potassium dichromate solution is added into water sample. After high-temperature digestion in strong acidic condition & with silver salt as catalyst, chromateⅥ is reduced to chromateⅢ by oxygen-demanding organics & reducing substances. The decrement of ChromateⅥ is determined by photoelectric colorimetry. The analyzer then calculates the CODcr value of the sample directly by comparing the measured sample value with the calibration curve established by standard sample.
